Fort Myers Boat Show 2026: a Gulf Coast buyer’s guide

A smaller, regional next step after FLIBS—especially for buyers whose real questions are local service, storage and delivery.

Axopar brand announced; models pendingBy D. Johnson · Updated
At a glance

The Fort Myers Boat Show runs November 12–15, 2026. Axopar is named in Walker’s Marine’s current show announcement, making this a relevant ABG stop on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Exact Axopar models and berth details were not specified in that source when checked. ABG brands: what is actually confirmed

These are current-edition published announcements/listings, not a guarantee that each boat will be available to board. Confirm the final boat and appointment with the exhibitor.

What the Axopar announcement does—and does not—confirm

A brand in a dealer’s event announcement is a useful first screening signal. It is not evidence that every boat in that brand’s catalogue will be available to board. Send Walker’s Marine the exact model and configuration you want to see, and ask whether the display is on land or afloat before making an appointment. For an early research shortlist, use ABG’s Axopar guide and Nord Star versus Axopar comparison. Those pages explain the existing comparison set; they should not be read as a Fort Myers attendance list.

A Gulf Coast ownership checklist

Start with the berth, not the brochure. Bring your dock or storage constraints, boarding arrangement and intended passenger load. Ask the dealer to write down overall dimensions in the configuration being quoted, including engines and any appendages relevant to your lift or marina.

Discuss heat and weather separately. Assess shade, airflow, seating and wet-gear storage on the displayed boat. An enclosed helm and a comfortable outdoor lounging area solve different problems. Have each member of the household try the entry, head and seating while you are aboard.

Identify the service plan. Ask who would handle routine engine service, warranty diagnosis and electronics support near your home port. Request a realistic service handover and owner-orientation plan rather than treating a show salesperson’s availability as proof of ongoing local support.

How to turn a show visit into a comparable quote

Give the dealer a written mission: usual crew, typical trip, overnight expectations, home port and target ownership timing. Ask for the price of the exact configuration discussed, with installed options, transport and commissioning identified. Separate what is physically available from what must be factory ordered.

Record promised delivery dates as quoted estimates, not guaranteed slots, unless the written agreement says otherwise. For a meaningful performance assessment, arrange a separate sea trial with representative loading and conditions. A stationary boat-show visit cannot answer that question.

Use ABG’s U.S. price guide to organize the categories you need to compare—not as a substitute for a current dealer quotation.

Fort Myers within your boat-show calendar

The most efficient sequence may be FLIBS for model comparison, followed by Fort Myers for a focused dealer discussion. Do not repeat the whole shopping process: bring the same shortlist and photographs and concentrate on unanswered ownership questions.

For the next winter option, see the St. Petersburg planning guide. Its dates are published, but ABG-model attendance still needs confirmation. The national boat-show calendar distinguishes current announcements from historical participation.

Questions buyers are asking

When is the 2026 Fort Myers Boat Show?

November 12–15, 2026, in downtown Fort Myers. The city lists 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Sunday.

Will Axopar be at the Fort Myers show?

Walker’s Marine includes Axopar in its 2026 show announcement. That confirms the brand connection, not a specific 29, 38 or 45 model. Ask the dealer for its final lineup.

Should I visit Fort Myers or FLIBS?

Use the verified FLIBS model list for broad launch comparisons. Fort Myers is a useful regional follow-up when you need to discuss a Southwest Florida ownership plan; confirm the exact boats before traveling.
